About
TOKAJ IPA is the first Slovak Tokaj beer, which was created by collaboration of elite Slovak winery- TOKAJ MACIK WINERY and famous Slovak craft brewery-KALTENECKER. Cooperation between the craft brewery specialized for unique beers and family winery well known for its modern and rebellious approach created a semi-dark ALE, which is extra hoppy with new American hops.
Maris Otter, Black Patent and Chocolate malt along with Nelson Sauvin, Centennial and Sorachi hops.
The beer, called Raven, has bitterness and hop character and plenty of malt flavours to give it complexity.
Belgian-type beer typical mainly for the southern part of the country. The beer was brewed in the brewery Hastrman using three different malts (pilsen, munich and wheat) and three Czech hops (Saaz, Sladek and Kazbek).
